Algarve

The Algarve is the most famous part of Portugal. It’s no wonder it is included in most itineraries since it offers a variety of small fisherman villages, long stretches of sandy wild beaches and bustling tourist towns. If water sports are your thing, then the caves and hidden coves along its coast will be a treasure trove of afternoons spent with salt in your hair as you explore them all. I go down to the Algarve as often as I can.
