If you’re going for lunch, Na Onda on Foz do Lizandro beach is a fabulous option. We also love going to Jangada because it’s a stone’s throw away from our house, and we love the atmosphere. They have a terrace which is great for watching the sunset, as well as an outdoor space with lounge chairs where you can have a drink and take in the never-ending view. The inside seating area is full of plants and surrounds the glassed-in pool, which makes for a very cool few hours. We love to go to Mar de Areia for their delicious grilled fish. You can even watch the man grilling in the entrance. Here the food is simple and delicious and the atmosphere as traditional as it comes. This is one of the oldest establishments in the village and leads you by the nose!
